When he’s not saving lives as a Firefighter Paramedic, Seeker Pro Staffer Nick Lam can be found dominating the inshore fishing scene in the Bay Area. Catching everything from prize halibut to bass near the San Francisco shore, he’s always on top of his game. Nick can also be found offshore and on the top long-range boats for explosive yellowfin tuna, wahoo, dorado and more.

As a career first responder, it’s no surprise that Nick is the first to step in to help friends commercial fishing operation for king crab. He also represents Seeker as chartermaster aboard several long-range vessels, chasing ‘cow’ bluefin and yellowfin tuna.

Building custom rods is a long way from the handline fishing Nick did as kid. But even though the technology might have changed, he still cherishes those memories of fishing off the rocks of Catalina with his dad.
